Thousands of people gathered outside the Sydney Opera House today ahead of the world’s biggest YouTube star giving away 10 new cars to race entrants.
MrBeast has invited fans to join him on the forecourt from 14:00 to 16:00 today, when the competition will begin and ten lucky winners will receive the keys to a new car.
Crowds are currently pressed against the gates waiting for the 26-year-old to arrive.
Videos on social media show children waiting with “we missed school” signs.
Jimmy Donaldson is a 26-year-old American YouTube creator, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
MrBeast has become the most subscribed creator on YouTube globally and is known for his elaborate pranks and huge giveaways.
Donaldson is also the founder of Feastables, a chocolate snack brand company.
Time magazine named the content creator one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2023.
He has also appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and Forbes.

MrBeast is in Australia to run an exclusive raffle for his Australian fanbase.
The content creator will offer the chance to win a car with the purchase of a new Feastables chocolate bar nationally.
Ahead of the giveaway, Donaldson filmed a promotional video in Sydney, which was posted on social media on Sunday.
“I’ve just launched Feastables in Australia as you can tell by the Sydney Opera House,” MrBeast told fans.
“To celebrate, we’re giving random people who buy Feastables the chance to win a Lamborghini and nine other cars.
“Good luck Australia, see you in a few days.”
