Two boys, 15, arrested over 3am shop robbery in Adelaide

Two teenagers have been charged after a cheesecake shop was broken into Adelaide overnight stay and number of sweets stolen.

The alleged cheesecake thieves were spotted on the store’s CCTV by the owner of the Salisbury business at 3.10am, who then alerted the police.

Police officers and police dog Chaos went to the scene where they found the store’s front window smashed, but the store empty.

The chaos then led officers to nearby Salisbury Junction, where they found two 15-year-old boys.

Two backpacks were found in bushes nearby containing cheesecakes stolen from the John Street business.

The teenagers, from Salisbury North and Eyre, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

They were released ahead of an expected court appearance in Elizabeth Youth Court on Friday, August 2.
