Man presents at Melbourne hospital with life-threatening gun shot wounds

A Melbourne man is fighting for his life after being shot in what police believe was a targeted attack.
Police were initially alerted to an injured man on the M80 Ring Rd near Pascoe Vale Rd, Jacana at around 12.10pm on Tuesday.
When officers arrived, they couldn’t find the man, but were told a man had come to a Parkville hospital with suspected gunshot wounds.
The victim is a 50-year-old man from Truganina, whose life is in danger.
“Investigations into the incident are ongoing but at this time it is believed to be a targeted attack,” police said.
The M80 Ring Rod Greensborough exit to Pascoe Vale Rd and the Tullamarine Fwy ramp is closed.
Motorists are advised to take the next exit from the M80 at Sydney Rd and use Camp Rd to return.
