Council in Adelaide West will urgently replace a number of park toilet doors after receiving complaints from local residents that they were see-through.
The toilet located in Allenby Gardens Reserve is regularly used by sports clubs and young families.
The doors are made of metal mesh and were installed some time ago, but recently residents complained to Charles Sturt City Council that they did not provide any privacy for people using the toilet.

“It scares me that there’s a playground behind us and I know there are kids that are vulnerable,” local Felicity Garraham told 7NEWS.
Park user Syed Waleed agreed and called the transparent doors “an invasion of privacy.”
“They need to be fixed as soon as possible,” Walid said.
Briana Warne said she visits the park regularly with her children but does not use the restroom.
“It’s very inappropriate… They (the council) shouldn’t be designing any more toilets,” Warne said.
The city of Charles Sturt said the doors would be replaced “on priority”.
“Charles Sturt recognizes that these doors do not provide adequate privacy and to ensure safety over this long weekend we are installing temporary screens today,” the council said.
“Our intention is to create safe public spaces and increase passive surveillance, but these doors are not suitable and will be repaired.”
A spokesman said some elements of the public toilets had recently been replaced following an incident of vandalism, but the doors had not been removed.
