The champions of the Bundesliga Bayer Leverkusen continued their unbeaten run by securing a 5-1 away win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

Leverkusen’s record unbeaten run now stretches to 48 matches in all competitions.

The visitors broke the deadlock through Granit Xhaka’s strike from outside the box after 12 minutes, while Frankfurt equalized just after half an hour through Hugo Ekitike’s perfectly curled header.

Leverkusen regained the lead shortly before half-time thanks to Patrick Schick’s high header and Exekiel Palacios added his third goal in the 58th minute from the penalty spot after Nils Nkunku pulled down Nathan Tela’s shirt. Jeremy Frimpong added a fourth goal for the visitors in the 77th minute, firing in from close range, and Victor Boniface made it five from another penalty.

PSV Eindhoven sealed their first Eredivisie title in six years and the 25th Dutch league crown in their history by beating Sparta Rotterdam 4-2.

Sparta midfielder Methinho threatened to spoil the party atmosphere in Eindhoven when he scored in the eighth minute, but Said Bakary’s own goal leveled the scores and Yohan Bakayoko put PSV ahead in the 26th minute. Another own goal, this time by PSV defender Olivier Boscali, brought Sparta back level before half-time.

Boscali hit back with a delicate strike from a Joey Wehrmann free-kick to put the home side 3-2 up, and defender Jordan Tese put the result and PSV’s title beyond doubt when he made it 4-2 in the 78th minute. Peter Bosz’s dominant side have lost just one league game all season and are 12 points clear of Feyenoord, who have three games to play.

“We scored the most goals, conceded the fewest goals and created the most chances. We have shown that we are the best at Eredivisievery simple,” Tese told Dutch broadcaster NOS.

Third-placed Juve have 66 points, five behind Milan which ended in a 3-3 draw with Genoa Earlier in the day. Roma are fifth with 60 points, four behind fourth-placed Bologna.

“We’re not so happy with the draws, but seeing the attitude of the boys, the way they never stop fighting to get a result, I’m so happy with it,” Roma manager Daniele De Rossi told Dazn.

Roma will now turn their attention to their Europa League semi-final second leg against Leverkusen on Thursday as they look to overturn a 2-0 deficit from the first leg. “We saw what Bayer Leverkusen are like when they break the first press and they have space to come across, so we have to be energetic and intense but also intelligent,” De Rossi added.
