A rampaging group of English hooligans attacked a bar where Serbia supporters were drinking ahead of the Serbia v England match on Euro 2024.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. local time, dozens of Serbs standing in front of the Aleppo bar on Arminstrasse in central Gelsenkirchen were shelled.
According to witnesses, “everything you can imagine” was thrown at the Serbian supporters by the English hooligans before the arrival of 200 German riot police.

One man, said to be from Birmingham, was left with serious head injuries as he was dragged into the fight but refused to give his name to officers at the scene.
He was seen receiving medical attention, including a heavy bandage on his head. England fans fled the scene.
