“I’m traveling for a family reunion and I have to catch a bus and I’m just checking to see if you even have a few bucks?” Sam asked her.

Daniel didn’t hesitate, pulled out his wallet and, admitting he didn’t know how much the bus cost, handed Sam a $20 bill.

“Are you OK? Are you sure? May I ask why you did this for me? Sam says back.

Daniel tells him, “Everyone goes through their own thing. We learned this the hard way and if you can be good why not”.

She then tells Sam that her husband was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2023.

“I guess it’s not if, but when. It could be 12 months,” she says.

Danielle then says that she wants to have as many memories as possible with her husband in the time they have left.

In a twist, Sam returns the $20 back to Danielle and gives her $1,000 as she breaks down in tears and hugs him.

“Sam” was actually social media star Sam Weidenhofer, and the entire exchange was captured and posted on TikTok, where it had 1.8 million views.

Danielle Murray’s husband had already undergone a double lung transplant 12 years ago due to cystic fibrosis.

Last year, he suffered a seizure that led to the devastating discovery of the apple-sized tumor in his brain.

“It’s incurable, which is a really irritating word and it hangs over you,” Murray told 7NEWS.

A GoFundMe page raised more than $25,000 for the family to make all the memories they can.

“Kindness and generosity and all those things make you want to live every day,” he said.

The social media personality who gave Daniel the money, Sam Weidenhofer, told 7NEWS it’s amazing to see that humanity still exists with all the “bad things going on in the world.”
