Teen hospitalised after plunging into a creek during crash at Edmondson Park in Sydney’s southwest

An 18-year-old boy was hospitalized after losing control of his car in Sydneysouthwest and plunged into a creek bed early Saturday morning.
His gray Subaru station wagon was found on its side in a deep embankment next to the Bernera Rd bridge in Edmondson Park about 2am.

The teenager escaped with leg injuries and was taken to Liverpool Hospital.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
The crash comes just over a day after 18-year-old Selina Bennetts Lee died at the scene of a crash in nearby Wetherill Park.
She was driving with four passengers along Horsley Dr when she lost control of the car and crashed into a tree at around 11.15pm on Thursday night.
In her car, she was carrying four teenagers who were injured in the accident, one of whom is fighting for his life.
